Estate-planning specialist asset manager Stellar has launched an “all-inclusive” inheritance tax planning service intended to give advisers access to a network of legal and tax advisers, including estate administrators.
The company claims its Expert Partner Service is the “first of its kind” to be offered by an asset manager, and complements its existing range of tax-efficient discretionary managed portfolios.
At launch, the partner service includes members such as the independent legal professionals network Farani Taylor, tax advisory service Obsidian and estate administration provider Kings Court Trust.
Over time, Stellar said, it intended to add further partners to its scheme, including additional administrative tools and lifestyle services.
Stellar business development director Matthew Steiner said: “Financial advisers often speak to us about their frustration with the difficulty of bringing together the range of experts their clients need to achieve a fully integrated solution.
“By launching this service, we are offering advisers the opportunity to plug directly into a pre-existing, robustly vetted network of partners.”
‘Swiftly and smoothly’
Steiner added that advisers “no longer need to struggle co-ordinating multiple separate bodies” because its Expert Partner Service would “work swiftly and smoothly”.
Obsidian director Tom Moore said the firm was “delighted” to be part of the service. He added: “We have a wealth of experience at Obsidian in providing inheritance tax advice and we are very excited at this opportunity to bring that experience to a wider market.
“We look forward to working closely with Stellar to provide the very best service to clients in this field.”
